Agriculture Victoria has partnered with South Gippsland farmers Jenny and Paul O’Sullivan of Malabar Farm near Walkerville to find profitable and sustainable ways to reduce emissions on their sheep and beef properties.

Secondary school students across South Gippsland will have the opportunity to win $50 gift cards while helping to create a smoke and vape-free future through an innovative new challenge launched by local health services.

Victorian Landcare Grants are helping nurture the next generation of environmental stewards across Gippsland, with young volunteers combining adventure and conservation in innovative ways that are breathing new life into the region's Landcare movement.

The Friends were invited to participate in the Victorian Environmental Volunteers Showcase at Queens Hall, Parliament House Melbourne, organised by the Parliamentary Friends of Landcare, and attended by around 50 Landcare and Friends groups over two days.

The Country Women's Association Gippsland Hills Group celebrated its 70th annual Exhibition of Handicrafts, Art & Home Industries at Meeniyan Hall last weekend, attracting over 700 entries and hundreds of visitors.
